LG is a major mobile phone manufacturer and a supplier of screens for many mobile phone brand.

Recently, foreign media reported that LG’s new phones next year will be named “Rainbow” and Q83, which respectively correspond to high-end and entry-level models.

The Q83 also supports 5G signals, and the hardware specifications should not disappointing.

Judging from the pictures provided by LetsgoDigital, this phone will be stretched on both sides and is expected to be released in 2021.

According to the report, a two-side stretch plan was adopted in LG rainbow flexible screen mobile phone, which is different from most current flexible screen and folding screen mobile phones. The screen size of the device under normal condition is 6.8 inches, and it reaches 7.4 inches when unfolded.

This design benefits from the slidable links and springs used on the back of the screen, which can make the machine unfold on both sides, or only one side.

Compared with Samsung‘s Z Fold2 folding phone, this design may make the phone thinner and lighter.
